What to expect

If your new to GBC, here a few things that we hope will make your visit a little less stressful.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're visiting us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. Wear what is comfortable. Some prefer to put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.

Before the Service

Sunday School for children and adults starts at 9:45AM on Sunday mornings.

There is child care for infants and toddlers. When you sign your child(ren) in, you'll be issued a pager so you can be reached in the event the staff or your child needs you. There is Sunday school for children ages 2 years and up.

Worship

This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. We have contemporary worship music, as well as more traditional songs and hymns. Everyone worships in their own unique way – for many, that means singing & clapping, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You’re welcome to worship however you want.

Offering

Each week there is a time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them to give to God a portion of what He has already given us. It also gives GBC the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.

The Message (sermon)

Every weekend, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is centered in God's Word. We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong Biblical foundation for your life. Communion We celebrate communion together on the first Sunday of each month. Anyone can participate in this time of self-examination and reflection on Christ's sacrifice, as long they’ve made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.

After the Service

Pick up your kids. Make sure that you return the pager that the nursery and children's workers gave you when you dropped your kids off so that we can ensure your children's safety. Please pick up your children promptly.
